Comfort Throw Blankets  

The Michigan Donor Family Council provides comfort throw blankets to organ and tissue donor families at the time of their loss. It is our hope that this gift of compassion will bring them some small amount of comfort in their time of sorrow and transition.

Volunteers who knit, crochet or quilt are needed to help with this meaningful project.

Blanket Details

  • Knitted, crocheted, quilted or fleece blankets are desired.
  • Sample size: Approximately 43” by 37” or similar dimensions.  
  • Neutral colors are preferred when possible.

 

Mail completed blankets to the Michigan Donor Family Council or Gift of Life Michigan.
