Transplant Community Coalition

The Michigan Donor Family Council is proud to be a member of The Transplant Community Coalition.

The Coalition launched a mission to address the most pressing unmet needs of the transplant community at each stage in their journey.

The Coalition was born out of collaboration through the COVID-19 pandemic. Shortly after the pandemic hit in 2020, the Coalition’s Founding members united to develop a central hub to help the transplant community navigate uncertain times.

The Coalition’s mission spans across the four core pillars:
The Four Pillars:
Diversifying Donors
Guiding Transplant Recipients
Engaging Donor Families
Supporting Those Awaiting Transplant
